On a day in which the snow flew from the start of the steeplechase through the early afternoon, the Colorado State track and field men's and women's teams won the Jack Christiansen Invitational, the first scored meet of the season for the Rams. CSU's women earned 180 points, 58.5 ahead of second place Northern Colorado, while the men earned 181 points to finish 20 points ahead of MWC rival Air Force. MORE

Colorado State's Emily Pearson set the CSU school record and shattered the Jack Christiansen Track record by scoring 5,439 points at Friday's Glenn Morris Invitational. Katie Lloyd also broke the track record with a score of 5,305. Both scores were season bests and NCAA provisional qualifying marks. MORE
